Apple launches iOS 15.4 along with iPadOS 15.4 in a public beta

In the last week Apple earlier this week, Apple iOS 15.3 as well as iOS 15.3 to support mobile devices. And you’re aware of the meaning of that, don’t you? It’s time to release a new beta version – the development cycle is never-ending. Apple has announced iOS 15.4 along with iPadOS 15.4 to developers today, and these versions are now available to those who are members of Apple’s Beta Program.

This new version of Apple’s smartphone application finally lets you use Face ID even when you’re wearing a mask (and it took only nearly two months!). In addition, it has new functionality that is available to people wearing glasses, but it does require the setting up of each pair of glasses that you wear frequently. But that Face ID using glasses doesn’t support it.

There was only limited access to Face ID while wearing a mask, however, it was required to have the Apple Watch connected to the same phone. As of iOS 15.4 from now, this will no longer be required.

iPadOS 15.4 includes Universal Control, which allows multiple Macs and iPads to be controlled using the same keyboard and cursor (provided the Macs are running macOS Monterey 12.3).

The betas also include new emojis as well as also an Apple Card widget, an option to adjust the brightness of your keyboard via Control Center on iPad, customized email domains on the device, and more convenient access to SharePlay.

If you’d like to take these beta builds that are open to the public to test then you must sign up your device on Apple’s official site here. Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to download the latest software via unofficial updates over the air.
